Like everyone here, where do you start. My first car was a XA GT which I paid the massive amount of $2800 back in 1988. I had that car for about 2 years and traded it for a more econimical friendly car as I was doing a lot of travelling from Melbourne to out South-west Victoria. But during that time I bought and sold a lot of cars until 1992 when I bought my third longest owned car a LJ GTR with a 400 Chev in it. I drove and raced that car for 3 years, with it getting a heart transplant to a smaller 350 Chev, but where I ran a best time of 10.23 at 132mph with that powerplant setup. The car had more potential, but it meant cutting up the car and more $ to get it to hook up. So the car was sold in favour of my current ride which I have now owned for just over 19 years, a 1956 210 4 dr hardtop sports sedan. This car has been on the road about 12 years. I am also currently in the process of finishing a build of a 1934 Ford 3 window coupe, which unfortunately is on hold again while I build a new house, but hopefully by the end of next year early 2016 it will be finished and I will have two toys to choose from for future meets. Then I guess I will have to start sourcing a project for either of my two youngest children. My daughter who religously comes to all the meets wants an older VW beetle. My son, who is only seven is yet to decide, but I am sure one day will come up with an idea.
